The project was developed for an EAD (Distance Learning) platform focused on training teachers in the use of artificial intelligence in the classroom and in mastering the main AI tools. The objective was to create a complete visual system for the covers (thumbnails) of all video classes on the platform.

The Challenge

The client's central requirement was clear: the platform needed a "totally futuristic" aesthetic that reflected the cutting-edge theme of the course. Furthermore, the challenge was increased by the need to create two versions of covers for two different teaching platforms, but with similar content. One platform required a purple theme, and the other a blue theme.

The Design Solution: A Generative AI Workflow

To meet the demand for a futuristic aesthetic, the solution was to develop a design workflow that utilized generative AI from start to finish. The process was structured to ensure visual and conceptual consistency:

1. Conceptual Decomposition and Prompt Engineering: Each cover began with analysis of the class title. The theme was broken down into its key concepts. Next, a text AI was used to generate suggestions for prompts(commands) that translated these concepts into a visual language aligned with the futuristic universe of the course.

2. AI Art Generation: The refined prompts were then used in an AI image generation platform to create the covers. Strict control was maintained to ensure all images had a consistent visual style and color palette, forming a cohesive art library.

3. Strategic Differentiation of Platforms: Many classes were repeated on the purple and blue platforms. The easiest solution would be to simply apply a purple color filter over the existing blue images. However, to ensure a higher quality and authentic result, the decision was made to redo the entire process.

All covers for the purple platform were generated from scratch, one by one, using similar prompts, but directing the AI to create original compositions within the new color scheme. Although it was a more laborious process, the result was a much more satisfying and professional visual identity for each platform, avoiding the appearance of "reusing" material.

The end result is an EAD platform with an impactful and cohesive visual identity, where each class cover is a small work of futuristic art, generated by AI, that perfectly reflects the course's innovative content.
